Super Eraser: Photo Erase App Reviews

Tried to use this app to edit multipule photos for removing waterspots, and cludder. I really regret paying for this application, as it did not work, it is useless to me.

This software is okay I would not purchase it and expect that you are going to be able to fix the water marks on pictures and make them look perfect. It did an average job but I still needed to have new pictures taken.

The only thing it will remove is the money from your pocket..! It’s crap !! , look elsewhere. It wouldn’t remove anything without putting something else back ………...

This is very useful app that allows you to remove unneccessary objects from your photo. The app is very easy to use. Just mark unwanted objects which you would like to hide and that’s it. The app works perfect. Definitely recommend it.

Since I can’t find any instructions, I can’t make this work for anything more than the simplest removal. If the background is anything other than one color, who knows what will show up in place of what you removed, a tree limb, people’s feet, someone’s head. If I had instructions. maybe this wouldn’t happen, but I don’t so I can’t make it work correctly. Your experience may vary.

Bought this and was beyond disappointed… I can’t imagine who would pay the original $19.99 for this app. Not sure if I am missing something, but completely underwhelmed by lack of features. Also, instructions seem to be missing. The information blurb had a lot of hype and I was expecting a much more sophisticated interface. I understand it is about simplicity and user accessability but this seemed just primitive compared to what was “promised”. And I am not one to write annoyingly bad reviews - my first and hopefully last.

I’m looking to get rid of background problems, instead, I get multiples of the subject, surrounding the subject. I take a picture of my grand with a tree or limb coming out of his head, use the Super Eraser, the arbor problem is gone, but there are eight small, partial pics of my grand, surrounding the main pic. I’ve gone over the tutorial many times and it says nothing about multiples.

It’s not working at all. It didn’t even erase what I wanted it to erase. Waste of time. Don’t get this!!

Love all the features this app offers. As a first time time user, I was able to edit and retouch several photos in a really short amount of time. And the image quallity of the results was fantastic. I highly recommend this app

The pop-up instructions and instructional video made using this app very easy to use. First, you use the Mark icon to draw in red the objects in the picture you want to remove. Second, you click the Protect icon to mark in green the objects in the picture you want to keep. Adjusting the size of the markers is especially helpful if you are trying to remove something fairly detailed. Overall, this editor was easy to use and I was able to edit a couple pictures quickly. Highly recommended!

Ive loved this app for how easy and great. I can delete objects in pictures without compromising resolution.

I don’t know about most people but I spent many hours trying to find a tool anywhere that would help me erase unwanted parts of my pictures. Eventually, after researching, the only one I found was Adobe Photoshop. When I tried it, the quality was terrible and my image came out worse than before. Then, someone recommended this Super Eraser app. After using this app, I’ve found that it works way better than Photoshop’s tool. The instructions window when first opening the app gives an in-depth look at the app, so you don’t spend hours trying to figure things out. Don’t waste hundreds of dollars on Photoshop, when you can get more value for less money from Super Eraser. I will be using Super Eraser in the future! I highly recommend this to anyone who is into photo editing!!

All the other apps are too busy. This one is simplistic yet works really well and makes my pics beautiful. Thank you so so much.

I downloaded this and the eraser dosnt even work. I can highlight who I want to protect but it does noting with the eraser tool

You have to trace all the watermarks yourself. And then it doesn’t even work well.

This App is a joke it dosn’t work as claimed. When i try to remove a watermark I get multiples of the images of the subject where the watermark was. What a waste of $10, how do they get away with these false claims I want my money back. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!

I am running OS X El Capitan on a new MacBook Retina 12-inch Early 2015 This app does not work, even on simple images, for me. I have read, reread, and followed the instructions (at least the small amount instructional information available). This program leaves artifacts from other parts of the image, on the area to be erased. And yes, I read about using "green" to protect and avoid mirroring. An online FAQ takes you to a video for "Super PhotoCut" a completely different app from Super Eraser. The only instructional video that deals with Super Eraser is "How to Remove Watermark from Image for Mac." Good luck with that. The presenter spends most of his time telling you how easy Super Eraser is to use. It is not, as described "a piece of cake." It works for him in the video but not for me. I HAVE meticulously followed ALL the steps. One review here says the pop-up instructional windows make it easy to use. Where are they to be found? I find some of the reviews here, suspect.
